Amid COVID-19 Crisis, Join Siskiyou Central Credit Union to Color the County

Siskiyou Central Credit Union is offering an Online Coloring Contest to Promote Youth Month: Let Us Help Your Kids Find Money Magic!

It’s that time of year again, it’s National Credit Union Youth Month at Siskiyou Central Credit Union. We would like to invite Siskiyou County’s Youth to participate in an online coloring contest.

We understand that the current COVID-19 pandemic has many of our members sheltering-in-place, which is why we are taking our coloring contest to the web.

Simply download the coloring page on our website or Facebook page. Print it out, color, and email to aeastlick@siskiyoucu.org. Each submission should include: first name, age, city and phone number for winner announcements (phone number will not be posted).

Our contestants will be featured on SCCU’s Facebook page and website. We have three age groups this year: 0-4 years, 5-9 years, 10-14 years. Three submissions from each group will win prizes. Winners will be announced May 8, 2020.

The credit union is committed to promoting the financial health of our youngest members, embodying the ‘people-helping-people’ philosophy. The theme for this year’s Youth Month is “Money Magic - Share, Spend and Save at Your Credit Union.” Together, we’re encouraging our youngest members to learn common financial concepts kids should understand: saving, spending, charitable giving, investing and budgeting.

Siskiyou Central Credit Union can serve as an important ally for parents in their mission to teach their kids to be financially responsible. Join us this April as credit unions across the country focus on educating youth about financial health. More information can be found at siskiyoucu.org.
