This letter is to inform you of the upcoming changes to our Online Banking password requirements. Within the next 30 days we are asking our members to enhance their passwords to have a minimum of 8-characters, this will need to include upper-case and lower-case letters, numbers, and a special character.

Phone, Online Banking and Yreka ATM services may be temporarily disrupted, March 12 from 12am-6am, due to network upgrades.

Beginning Wednesday, December 16, when bill pay subscribers log in to their bill pay accounts, they will see an alert notice regarding Internet Explorer browser.

Subscribers using Internet Explorer may be experiencing problems with some bill pay functions. IE is not compatible with security measures in our bill pay service. Issues can be mitigated by using the latest version of one of these supported browsers instead: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Apple Safari.

Subscribers will have the option to choose to not see the message after its first display.

On July 22 a new security feature was enabled.

This feature will strengthen the existing multi-factor authentication.

A one-time passcode will be sent to you, as part of this process, to step up your security with two-factor authentication. These randomly generated passcodes are only valid for a single login session and will overcome many of the vulnerabilities of traditional passwords.

Beginning July 1st the rules for check holds will change to the following:

The minimum amount of deposited funds that credit unions must make available for withdrawal by opening of business on the next day for certain check deposits is increased from $200 to $225.

We understand that the current COVID-19 pandemic has many of our members sheltering-in-place, which is why we are taking our coloring contest to the web.

In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, small business owners in all U.S. states, Washington D.C., and territories are eligible to apply for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan advance of up to $10,000. The SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan program provides small businesses with working capital loans of up to $2 million that can provide vital economic support to small businesses to help overcome the temporary loss of revenue they are experiencing.

As communities across the country cope with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, credit unions in every state are working with members to help consumers stay financially healthy during this emergency.

We recently updated our ATM’s with a chip reader enhancement. With this upgrade it changed the process a bit where it kept your card in the machine until the transaction was complete. Prior to this enhancement you would insert your card briefly then retract the card allowing you to complete the transaction. We were finding that cards were being left in the ATM with this change and have decided to make a slight change to the new process. The ATM’s will not dispense your cash until your card is removed, don’t worry the screen will prompt you to  take your card before your cash is dispensed. We hope this change provides you a better experience at our ATM’s. if you have any questions contact us at 530-842-1694. Thank you for your patience during this process.
