SCU Giveback is our community-first initiative created to support the local organizations doing meaningful work right here at home. Each month, we partner with a different nonprofit chosen by our staff, rallying together to raise awareness, lend support, and give back in ways that truly matter. It’s one more way we live out our commitment to strengthening our community, which we’re proud to be part of.

College of the Siskiyous Foundation

This month, we're giving back to an organization that's been investing in our community's future since 1992: the College of the Siskiyous Foundation

The COS Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to helping College of the Siskiyous students succeed. Through scholarships, emergency aid grants, and programs like Siskiyou Promise, they make it possible for local students to start, continue, and finish their education without financial hardship getting in the way.

Meet the Eagle's Nest Resale Shop in Weed: a community-powered thrift shop stocked almost entirely by local donations, from clothing and books to home goods and furniture. Run with the help of dedicated volunteers, the shop has supported COS students since 1997, with proceeds going directly toward COS Foundation scholarships.
