SCU Giveback is our community-first initiative created to support the local organizations doing meaningful work right here at home. Each month, we partner with a different nonprofit chosen by our staff, rallying together to raise awareness, lend support, and give back in ways that truly matter. It’s one more way we live out our commitment to strengthening our community, which we’re proud to be part of.

 

This months Featured Giveback is:

Friends of Hibbard

Friends of Hibbard is a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting and maintaining Hibbard Field, a space that brings our community together through baseball, events, and shared memories. Their work helps keep the field safe, functional, and enjoyable for players, families, and fans alike.

Through ongoing improvements, upkeep, and community involvement, Friends of Hibbard plays an important role in preserving a place that means so much to Yreka.

To support this month’s Giveback, we’ll be hosting a raffle at both SCU branches. One winner will receive a set of MLB tickets along with a gift basket. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20, with all proceeds going directly to Friends of Hibbard.

We’ll also continue selling our SCU Giveback stickers for $2 each, along with our succulents available for $3 (small pots) and $6 (large pots). It’s a simple way to support the field while taking home something that will continue to grow.

All proceeds will be going to Friends of Hibbard.

Stop by either branch to enter the raffle, pick up a sticker or succulent, and support a space that brings our community together.
