SCU Giveback is our community-first initiative created to support the local organizations doing meaningful work right here at home. Each month, we partner with a different nonprofit chosen by our staff, rallying together to raise awareness, lend support, and give back in ways that truly matter. It’s one more way we live out our commitment to strengthening our community, which we’re proud to be part of.

This months Featured Giveback is:

Jefferson State Stampede

This month, SCU is proud to support the Jefferson State Stampede, Northern California's premier open rodeo and a beloved celebration of western heritage, family tradition, and community pride.

The Jefferson State Stampede is a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) dedicated to promoting and maintaining the Montague Arena. Every year, they bring the community together for a one-of-a-kind event that honors the sport of rodeo and the spirit of the region.

This year's event: August 22nd, 2026. Gates open at 3:00 PM, pre-rodeo events at 5:00 PM, Grand Entry at 6:00 PM, with music and dancing to follow.
